Our M5 nEXTgen Bottom Metal for Rem 700/custom actions is the first extended short action trigger guard for stocks with a standard M5 inlet.
This bottom metal is designed to address the short comings and feeding issues of other bottom metals used with the 6.5 PRC and 6.5 SAUM / GAP 4S. By repositioning the magazine well posteriorly, our bottom metal allows cartridges with an OAL of 2.950" to reliably feed by detachable magazine without getting hung up on the receivers feed ramp and without having to modify, machine, or notch the rifle's feed ramp.
