We are very excited to announce the release of our extended M5 DBM aftermarket trigger guard -- our M5 nEXTgen AICS (SA) Bottom Metal is compatible with any custom action that shares the Rem 700 footprint and is designed for stocks with a standard M5 inlet.
This bottom metal is designed to address the short comings and feeding issues of other bottom metals used with the 6.5 PRC and 6.5 SAUM / GAP 4S. By repositioning the magazine well posteriorly, our extended bottom metal design allows rounds with an OAL of 2.950" to reliably feed by detachable magazine without getting hung up on the receivers feed ramp.
Requires installation by a competent gunsmith and timing of magazine latch/lever for proper fit. Most custom actions do not require any modification. Please note that Remington 700 actions will require machining the back end of the receiver and adjustment of the bolt stop.
